Niagara-on-the-Lake is an incredibly scenic town, located on the shores of Lake Ontario, and is ideal for exploring and wine tasting by bicycle! With relatively flat, easy biking routes connecting the wineries, this tour is suitable for all fitness levels, and any wine you purchase will be delivered to your hotel. Choose either the 6.5-hour tour that includes a delicious picnic lunch or the 4.5-hour tour that includes a specialty cheese pairing.
Driving from winery to winery is nice, but cycling between wineries is better! On this Niagara-on-the-Lake cycle and wine-tasting tour, bike along peaceful country roads and trails, stopping at the area's best wineries. The Niagara-on-the-Lake wine region is part of the greater Wine Country Ontario and is famous for a variety of delicious wines. This tour allows you to sample many, including Ontario's famous ice wine. The relaxing pace and relatively flat bike paths offer easy riding (even after a couple glasses of wine).
After meeting at the start location, your guide will lead you through the historic Niagara-on-the-Lake area and on to four or five wineries (depending on option selected) ranging from large-scale operations to boutique, family-owned vineyards. If you decide to buy a bottle (or 10!), your purchases will be picked up and brought to you when you finish the tour. Half-Day Tour with Cheese Pairing: Visit four Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries during this 4.5-hour tour, starting with a vineyard-to-tasting-room guided tour at one of the region's largest and most iconic wineries. Continue to three boutique wineries for more wine tasting, including Pondview Estates Winery, one of the newest wineries in the area, where you’ll enjoy a specialty cheese platter for a delicious cheese and wine pairing.
Full-Day Tour with Picnic Lunch: Begin this 6.5-hour tour with a leisurely cycle to one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s largest wineries, where you’ll have a full vineyard tour and a wine tasting. Next, cycle to the beautiful Harvest Barn or Caroline Cellars for a picnic lunch of sandwiches, salads, fruits and sweets. After lunch, continue with more wine tastings at three to four wineries, including boutique, small-production vineyards.
This was such a fun experiance. Lucky for us it was a beautiful day for biking. Our guide was the sweetest lady. We can’t wait to visit again a small do another all day tour.

Despite the rainy weather at the start of our tour, we thoroughly enjoyed the bike ride and wine tour. It was a relatively easy bike ride and the scenery was beautiful. We went to four different wineries and each one was unique. Our tour guide was great and very conscientious with regards to making sure everyone was keeping up. Great tour!

We did this with our tow adult sons. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Our group was a nice size and our two guides were fantastic. We toured three small wineries and one larger winery. All four were unique and had their positives and negative. The bicycling was mostly flat, so it was incredibly easy and the weather was perfect. Water was provided as well. We did no do the optional picnic lunch and we kind of wished we would have.....there's always next time. We would Highly Recommend!!

We did the 1/2 day cycling wine-tasting tour with cheese pairing. We cycled to 4 wineries. The weather was perfect, the group a nice size and a great guide.We thoroughly enjoyed the wineries, the pace of cycling and the commentaries. The bikes were in good shape and water was supplied. The bikes were super comfortable and easy to use, and our guide was amazing. The ride was not that tough as it was mostly flat. The wines we tasted at the wineries weren't that great, but that's my personal taste-we were given a lot of Rieslings and ice wines to sample, and I don't enjoy sweet wines. Caroline's Cellar was my favourite by far. I would recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time on this bike-wine tour. We were upgraded to the ultimate tour, which meant we also visited a brewery. We were with Guylaine our guide and one other couple. We visited 3 wineries and Oast brewery. At the first winery we had a cheese and meat plate with our wine Pondview. At the second winery we ate lunch Inniskillin - very yummy. At the final winery Reif, we ate chocolate with our wine. Guylaine was terrific and very knowledgeable. The bikes were in great shape and comfy. We were picked up and dropped off at our bed and breakfast for no additional charge. Great day of biking with great company.

This was a fun bike ride and a fun sampling of four wineries in the area. John and Kevin both did an outstanding job of guiding us from one winery to the next, and making sure we stayed on track time-wise, too. We loved it - we opted for the half-day tour with the cheese platter which was delicious! Suggest you stick a piece of fruit and/or bread into your backpack so you can have a snack between winery stops! All those sips add up!!!

Had a wonderful 4 hour bike and wine tour. Went to 4 different wineries and would say 2 out of the 4 were great. One of them seemed too busy and gave no personal attention to us at all. We had a group of 6 of us and we all had a wonderful time together. Our guide was such a nice guy, would definitely recommend if you are looking for a little excercise and wanting to get away from the crowd at niagara falls.

The tour guides were nice and kept us safe. The scenery was beautiful and the ride was at a leisurely pace. Wineries visited were good, although it would have been nice to have them spaced out more we rode for a while, visited 2 wineries back-to-back, then rode for a while again before visiting 2 more wineries that were close together. However, the tour guides may feel that these are the best wineries to serve the tour.

My wife and I booked the full day wine tasting bike tour with lunch. We visited 5 wineries in Niagra on the Lake and we had a great time. The first winery gave a very comprehensive tour and tasting. The other 4 were tasting only. The biking is very low key and the terrain is very flat and level. Lunch was great at Caroline Cellars. A very nice selection to choose from. John our tour guide was amazing and well versed about the wineries and the history of the area. The company picks up any wine you may purchase on your trip and has it waiting for you upon your return. Outstanding experience and would highly recommend the trip. Great value for the money.

You can see luxury scenery around Niagara-on-the-Lake area. Lunch sandwich was able to select and delicious, but in the afternoon ride please pay attention not to be drunk and blind purchase.

What a fun way to spend a day at Niagara on The Lakes! We thoroughly enjoyed the wineries, the wine and the good company.
